Welcome to the first issue of Empowering Women for 2008 and overall the 12th issue. This issue focuses on setting and achieving your goals.
1. Brandie over at Girls Who Network tells us how she hiked the muir Redwoods while vacationing in san Francisco, and how there was a valuable lesson in the woods. A must read for those that consider quitting due to feeling that things are hard and it’s easier to quit rather than keep on going.
2. Ellesse over at Goal Setting College talks about how you can change the way you look at the things you “wished you never did.” You’ll be thankful once you’ve read her article.
3. Gamy over at Mind Think Success talks about the 10 main reasons for all failures. This is a great read because we all at some stage begin to doubt ourselves when we start moving forward in achieving our goals.
4. Alex over at The Next 45 Years explains when the urge to quit is at its strongest, this is when success is just a very short distance away. You can read about it in his article, When you feel like giving up.
5. Tristan over at the Synergy Institute Online explains that goal setting is the single most important life skill that unfortunately over 97% of people never learn how to do properly. Find out how to set goals in SMART Goal Setting 101.
